Too many families in the Concho Valley are walking along a financial tightrope - barely getting by, with no ability to save for college, a home or retirement. United Way is working to transform that financial tightrope into solid ground by helping these families learn the basics of household budgeting, increase their income and start to set aside savings. Program Providers and their programs who operate on this objective include:
Concho Valley Workforce Development Board, CARES (Children At-Risk Enrollment Services) Institute for Cognitive Development, NewBridge Family Shelter Rebuilding Together, Handyman Program The Salvation Army, Emergency Assistance Program YMCA, KidSafe Elementary After School Program
