Education

Youth represent the future of our community.  We have an investment strategy to help youth reach their full potential in becoming productive, responsible, caring citizens.

Research shows that this investment must begin even before birth so that young children have healthy beginnings. The later years are also important because youth need safe places to go and caring adults to help guide them.

Program Providers and their programs who operate on this objective include:

Adult Literacy Council, English as a Second Language
Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lunch Buddies
Boys and Girls Club of San Angelo, Career and Education Development
Concho Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America, Youth Development Through Cub Scouts
Concho Valley Home for Girls, Independent Living Skills
Concho Valley Rape Crisis Center, Education and Prevention Program
Girl Scouts of Central Texas, SISTERS (Stay in School to Enjoy Real Success)
San Angelo Day Nursery, Infant, Toddler and Pre-K Program
